League Cultural Diplomacy is pleased to welcome Jolleen Hicks as a contributor to the where words fail blog (wherewordsfailblog.com).

Jolleen is the Founder & Lead Cultural Development Consultant at Aboriginal Insights, an Australian company which offers Australians and international visitors access to the Aboriginal cultural world, which in turn leads to stronger partnerships, stronger relationships, stronger respect, stronger understanding, and stronger appreciation of Aboriginal peoples’ and their cultures. From Roebourne in Western Australia, Jolleen is a proud Ngarluma-Aboriginal woman who is committed to empowering Aboriginal peoples. Graduating with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of WA in 2006, she was admitted as a Legal Practitioner to the Supreme Courts of New South Wales and Western Australia in 2007.

where words fail is a League Cultural Diplomacy (LCD) social media initiative which promotes awareness of how cultural diplomacy, cultural engagement and cultural intelligence can help business, governments and individuals to achieve their aims when working abroad or across cultures.
