We all work with ‘someone from somewhere else’ – and not all of us enjoy it. Whether your ‘someone’ is your client or supplier, your employee, your manager or your colleague, you will leave this session with an understanding of why challenges arise and some effective techniques for resolving them.
Different doesn’t have to mean difficult.
Challenge can also mean opportunity.
This brief introduction to cultural diversity is presented by coach, trainer & author Patti McCarthy. Her new book Cultural Chemistry: Simple Strategies for Bridging Cultural Gaps, recently featured in the Wall Street Journal, is described by one reviewer as “the recipe for cultural success and a must for your leadership library”.
Patti has ten years’ experience of assisting international organisations such as EY, Thales, SIRVA, Aesop and NAB to improve their cultural competency.
