Free book offer (until 31 May)

I recently reviewed Callum Laing’s excellent new book called Progressive Partnerships for wherewordsfailblog.com. I’m thrilled to announce that Callum has generously offered to send a free copy of the book to LCD’s friends, supporters, partners and subscribers in return for a short but honest review on Amazon – simply click here to seal the deal and get your free book today! (This offer is valid until the end of May).

South Australian Trade Mission to S.E.A. – increasing the availability of South Australian cultural goods in Vietnam.

From the 1st to the 4th of June I will be in Ho Chi Minh City representing League Cultural Diplomacy as a delegate on the South Australian Trade Mission to South East Asia. Please let me know if you would like to meet me in HCMC at this time.

In advance of the mission I’ve been lobbying the South Australian Premier Jay Weatherill to take the inter-governmental steps required to open the doors to make cultural goods from South Australia more available to consumers in Vietnam. I’ve managed to secure the written support of many leading arts organisations in SA for this initiative which will aid job growth and build stability in the SA arts sector. We are hopeful for a positive response from the Premier and I’ll keep you up-to-date with his response and action over the coming months.
